Fender Australia Company History The name "Fender", synonymous with legendary electric guitars, electric basses, and amplifiers, in Australia, is now even more.
Fender Australia Pty Limited (ACN 001 648 602) was established in 1978 to represent Fender Musical Instruments Corp, initially as sales agent. In 1985 we became the exclusive distributor of Fender products throughout Australia, PNG, Fiji and New Caledonia. Our quality range has grown to include Gretsch, Jackson and Guild guitars, SWR and SUNN Amplification, Guitar and Amplification accessories including Floyd Rose and Hipshot, Guitar World Magazine and Fender PA products including the revolutionary Passport Systems. Fender Australia is a company that works hard to promote and enhance the musical experiences of all who use or aspire to own our guitars and amps, new and second hand. We have been devoted to this task and passionate about our product and Aussie Fender users for over 22 years. Our staff includes a wide range of music enthusiasts ranging in interest from true guitar tragics to easy listening devotees. We have a network of over 100 authorised Fender Dealers throughout the country. Dealers have been pre-qualified for their knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to deliver. All are kept constantly updated about our product range and developments. These principles carry through to our group of Warranty Repairers, technical experts, who are all over the country and ready to serve. After 50 years of musical history Fender continues to lead the world in creating innovative and exciting musical products that will shape the sound of music into the 21st Century.
